Our Story
We didn’t start Catholic Surf Co. because it was just another clothing idea. We started it because we couldn’t stop thinking about two things that shaped our lives: the Cross and the ocean—and how both ask the exact same thing of you: total surrender.
Anyone who has paddled out past the break knows the feeling. The water is massive, you realize how small you are, and in an instant, everything else strips away. Out in the lineup, surrounded by the power of the swell, faith isn’t just a concept you talk about on Sundays—it’s an encounter with Creation in its rawest form. Scripture tells us the heavens declare the glory of God, and out past the surf, the ocean joins that chorus.
Catholic Surf Co. was built in Southern California for the sunrise Mass-goers and the dawn patrol crew: a community of wave-chasers who believe faith is meant to be carried into the water, into our neighborhoods, and into everyday life.
We design relaxed, 1970s-inspired coastal apparel crafted to honor that bond. More importantly, we believe that loving the ocean means looking out for the people and places around it. Every piece we make helps fund coastal community relief and ocean stewardship—protecting our shorelines and supporting the local beach towns that sustain us. Because out here, caring for Creation isn’t a trend. It’s a calling.
